Craig Smith lives with his wife Martha in Lucerne, Switzerland. His latest novel
Cold Rain is one of four books shortlisted for the Specsavers CWA Ian Fleming Thriller
of the Year 2011. His first novel, published in the UK and Australia as Silent
She Sleeps and subsequently in the US as The Whisper of Leaves, won the bronze medal
in the mystery category of ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year Awards.
Smith holds a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Southern Illinois.
His hobbies include reading, mountain hiking, travel, and the occasional game of
bridge. He is the author of The Painted Messiah, The Blood Lance and Cold Rain
published by Myrmidon Books. A brand new thriller, Every Dark Place, will be
published by Myrmidon in 2012.
